What if I told you that you had one week left to live ?

ماذا لو اخبرتك انه لديك اسبوع واحد لتعيشه ؟

would you regret not pursuing your dreams passions and desires

هل ستندم على أنك لم تلاحق احلامك ورغباتك

would you regret not living your life to the fullest

هل ستندم على أنك لم تعيش حياتك بكل تفاصيلها

would you regret not spending as much time with your any friends or loved ones

هل ستندم على أنك لم تقضى الكثير من الوقت مع الأصدقاء أو الأشخاص المحببين لديك

you know Steve Jobs said in a speech one time that he used to wake up every morning

هل تعلم أن ستيف جوبس قال ذات مره في خطاب له انه اعتاد على الاستيقاظ كل صباح

look in the mirror and ask himself questions like this

ينظر الى المرآة ويسأل نفسه مجموعة من الأسئلة مثل هذا

and he said that if the answer was yes for too many days in a row

وقال إنه إذا كان الجواب كان بنعم لعدة أيام على نفس الأسئلة

then he knew that he had to change something

كان يعلم أنه يجب عليه تغيير شيء ما

and that should go for all of us if you're living a life that you would not be okay

وهذا ما يجب أن نفعله جميعا إذا كنا نعيش حياة لا نشعر فيها اننا بخير

because you were able to do things you wanted to do

لأنك كنت قادر على فعل الأشياء التي تريد القيام بها

then now you know that you need to change something

ومن هنا أنت تعلم أنك بحاجة إلى تغيير شيء ما فى حياتك

life is simply too short and unpredictable to not live exactly the way that you please

الحياة ببساطة قصيرة جدا ولا يمكن التنبؤ بها لكى تعيشها بالطريقة التى تفضلها

it is ridiculously unpredictable

الحياة لا يمكن التنبؤ بها بشكل يدعو للسخرية

it is possible that on any given day to die at any point throughout that day

فمن الممكن أنك فى أي يوم وفي أي لحظة تموت

without ever being able to see it coming

بدون حتى أن تكون قادراً على توقع ذلك او التنبؤ به

you know when I was 13 I had this teacher who was an absolutely amazing person I've known him for several years

أتعرفون عندما كنت في الثالثة عشرة من عمري كان عندى معلم كان أفضل شخص عرفته على الاطلاق منذ عدة سنوات

then and he had two kids a loving wife he was a man of God contributed to the community

وكان لديه طفلين زوجة محبة كان رجل يعرف الله جيداً ساهم كثيرا في خدمة المجتمع من حوله

he gave us everything that he had and he would bike to school every single day

علمنا واعطى لنا كل ما لديه ، وكان يركب الدراجة إلى المدرسة كل يوم

I always remember him come to school on his bike and one morning on his way to school

أنا دائما أتذكره وهو يأتي إلى المدرسة على دراجته وفى صباح يوم من الأيام وهو في طريقه إلى المدرسة

It was early in the morning he was crossing an intersection a reckless driver comes out of nowhere hits him

ذلك كان في الصباح الباكر كان يعبر تقاطع ويأتي سائق متهور فجأة ليصدمه

he dies on the spot on the moment of impact his death taught me so many valuable things in life

ليموت فى نفس اللحظة وفاته علمتني الكثير من الأشياء القيمة في الحياة

and one of them being that it went on to show that no matter how much you don't deserve to die

واحد من هذه الاشياء أن ليس هناك شيئأ اسمه كم أن شخص رائع لا يستحق الموت

and no matter how good of a person you are and no matter what your situation is no matter anything

ولا يهم كم أنت شخص جيد لتموت أو لا ولا يهم ما هو موقفك ولا يهم أي شيء لكى تموت

it goes to show that death is inevitable in random and it will eventually consume each and every single one of us whether it's in 50 years in 10

الموت يأتى بغض النظر عن أى إعتبار لنعلم جميعاً أن الموت أمر لا مفر منه لكل شخص فى هذا الكون سواء كان عنده 50 سنة أو عنده 10 سنوات

knowing that you're going to die soon should be the biggest motivation to both make the difficult decisions in life and to get your ass out of bed in the morning

ومعرفة أنك سوف تموت قريبا سيكون أكبر دافع لك لتأخذ القرارات الصعبة فى الحياة وتستيقظ كل الصباح لتبدأ يوم جديد

so now the question becomes what is that you truly have to lose if you pursue your dreams

والآن يبقى لك سؤال أخير ما هو الذى عليك حقا ان تفقده اذا كنت تسعى الى تحقيق أحلامك .

sometimes the only way to do that is to take a risk at one point you have got to take a leap

الطريقة الوحيدة للقيام بذلك هو المخاطرة في وقت ما من عمرك عليك أن تقفز قفزة كبيرة

if you want to make that gift that you have become a reality

إذا كنت تريد أن تجعل تلك الأحلام والطموحات التى لديك تتحول الى حقيقة

otherwise Society will gladly accept you as a nine-to-five slave working just to pay off your rent and to stay alive and to live for the weekend

وإلا فإن المجتمع سوف يقابلك بسرور كأنك واحد من العبيد تعمل فقط لسداد الإيجار الخاص بك والبقاء على قيد الحياة والعيش من أجل عطلة نهاية الأسبوع

which is the absolute worst way to live if you don't jump believe me if you don't pursue your gift you will live a life full of regret in your gift your dreams

وهذه أسوأ طريقة للعيش فى هذه الدنيا صدقنى إذا كنت لا تقفز وإذا كنت لا تسعى وراء أحلامك ستعيش حياة مليئة بالندم على هذه الاحلام

everything that you ever had to offer to the world will die with you

وكل شئ كان يمكن أن تقدمه فى هذه الحياة ولهذا العالم سوف يموت معك ....
